•  Moved to New York City, 1956 attended evening session Cooper Union Art School, Science and Art
    1956 - 1961
•  Worked in textile design and advertising field
•  Full tuition scholarship 1956 - 1961
•  Scholarship recipient for Provincetown Workshop, Summer 1961
•  In Massachusetts, worked with Victor Kandell, Cooper Union Art School and Leo Manso, New York
   University
•  Worked in advertising field 1961 to 1963 in Los Angeles and New York City
•  Moved to New Haven, Connecticut and entered Yale University 1963
•  B.F.A. 1964, half tuition scholarship
•  M.F.A. 1965, full tuition scholarship
•  Worked in advertising field, graphic design, lettering, 1965-1967, New York City
•  Moved to Houston 1967 to teach at the University of Houston in the Art Department
•  Taught painting, life drawing, and design until 1969, moved to College Station, Texas
•  Taught at Texas A&M University from 1969 to present
